Don't worry Joel... I triple pimp my GTX. I'm sure I'll be posting on the list a lot more when I actually get my new shell down to Portland from the Baldini's backyard. It'll be a slow.... slow process. I might go with the 40mm's too at this point.

1988 Black GTX - #2 reliably broken touge monstar (294,000 miles no rebuilds) - dead

Thanks...I chose the photos carefully. The car grew up in the Texas panhandle, and at some point got caught in a hailstorm. The hood has been replaced, as has the hatch, but the roof will need some attention. One of these days, I'll get the bodywork done.

The cage is custom, but it turned out really, really nice. GTX's have a lot of flex, and this helps stiffen things up considerably.

One of these days, I'll build a gallery, and I'll include additional photos.

        Regards,
        Joel

I've now picked up at least one more... probably 2... bringing my grand total to 5.. One of which is Mark Tabor's old car. I know they still have Matt's black GTX, and supposedly have another parts car. I believe they're wanting to get rid of all the rest of it in one lumping.

Negative. I prefer my twitchy, scary, unruly at speed car.

just picked up a white '88 gtx here in colorado about a week ago... just going through the head right now to get rid of what i think is a HLA tick... anyways its pretty much totally rally ready minus a roll cage. i still have not even driven it yet though. haha...
