    the TOP BIG HUGE mofo pic at the START of this post IS a 100% Genuine Jap Spec BP26 ECU A.K.A a BG GTX ecu


    The pic below is a rough side by side of the differences between a N/A ECU and a BP26x ECU

    ive circled the main differences, they are very much the same layout, but are NOT the same, so everyone take note of the n/a boards locations of "things" vs the BP26 "things"



    Hopefully this clears up anything and EVEYTHING!!!

    With all the great info this thread is now a sticky. If someone has a bp55 and a bp58 gtx ecu please crack them open and snap some pics to post.

    o.k. so the simplest way to tell the diffrence is......
    n/a bp = 079721-2351
    GTX j-spec = 079721-2621

    yes. different ECU's have different part numbers on the circuit board. I'll open up the DX one tomorrow and show you what it says
