    New X for the strip...

So tonight I just curbed one of my rims, that makes 2 now outta the 5 that I have and I'm royally pissed off cause I didn't see the concrete parking curb.

I've been looking for some rims for the strip and we all know that 17" won't do... they discontinued the 15"'s in the same rim that I have.

Well low and behold they re-released the Maglites now called the Racer-X.

    15x7 (2.5" lip)

    15x8 (5" lip!!!)

Now I know most of you hate the X... but hey, just keeping with the theme of the car. Finally something to put my drag radials on...

I like 'em. simple, clean. 15x7 would be my choice.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

buy based on the reccomended width for the drag radials you are getting. i'd suggest a 225 50 15 which probably uses a 7" rim but you should check with the manufacturer. with the low pressures you run DR's at the correct rim width is rather important.
