Any diagrams on exactly how a quiafe internal looks? whats their minimum # for production to start? I wouldn't mind having one for my H trans- nor would ALOT of other people.

What kind of warranty comes with this? quaife's is a lifetime warranty

their warranty only applies to manufacturers defects i believe, but IMO you'd be very hard pressed to break one. its a helical LSD, it uses the same design as the quaife. how often have you heard of quaife's failing? the main target group for these LSDs was the SFWD honda drag racers... these guys run 10's and even 9's all day long. they have also been tested with success in some road race cars.

this is the best i can find for a pic of quaife internals... looks pretty damn similar to me

i'd just like to mention that i'm probably not even getting one of these (cant afford it right now, and i already have a quaife anyway). i just saw it as a great opportunity for the ford/mazda community, and its not gonna happen unless someone puts in some legwork . i guess i'm trying to give back a bit, in some way

I might have a spare to contribute. I have yet to find time to do the autopsy on the streetcar's first trans, the one where the centerdiff died. When I take it apart I shall find out if the front diff is intact, and if it is, and if there's interest in making an LS version of it, I'll send it off!

Jon, do they need a kia diff or tranny to make sure it works? if so, i will offer up my tranny/diff to make sure it fits.
