Hey all im pretty new to this forum and all, i just have a pretty basic question that i tried searching for but i couldn't get the real answer for. Im looking at doing mayb the BPT motor swap or a BP motor swap into my 1st dx. The question i have is what is a good place to look around for used motors or a spot in the north east that sells jdm motors. I really don't know where to look around for these. would a junkyard be a good spot to look? thanks in advanced

The easiest way for you to get a BP would be to check a junkyard near you for any 91-96 escort gt's. **** yeah i need the G series Trans right? i have actually my 2002 protege 5's G series trans that i swaped out from a 2.0 probe. I did this only because the housing was sort of broken on the protege's trans, But i think i can weld a few things together and make it work and just drop the old pr5 trans into the dx.. mayb?
i should just look for a parts EGT but god damn i really dont have that much money right now hahaComment
