Is there any other seals externally that I need to know about? If so a part number would be appresiated(sp)
Where is the shifter shaft seal at? I know mine is leaking from there but i'm not sure where the seal is and how to replace it.

          yes.

the only seal that requires disassembly is the input shaft seal.

i screwed up in my PM, you do need to open the trans to replace that. are you 300% its that seal leaking and not coming from another part of the trans?

I'm getting ready to replace all the seals in my F series box. Luckily, it's already out of the car. Let me know if you want a walk through.

haha yea thought i had to open it up, not worth it. Considering I replaced both extension shaft seals, speedo seal I thought perhaps it was slightly seeping obviously not worth opening up tranny though. Might also be some internal seal, oh well. thanks for the info and PM though.

Appreciate it, but not opening the tranny anytime soon unless the clutch fails.
