    ECU Wiring Help!!

I've been searching the web for what seems like hours trying to find the ECU Wiring Diagram but I can't seem to find it. And I've searched here too and no luck. So I was wondering if you guys can help me out! If you can tell me or maybe show me a picture or even a website would help me out. I need to figure out what all the cables do (name). Because I'm trying to install something but without the names/colors I cant do anything.

    Thanks guys!!

(1994 Mazda Protege 1.8 SOHC Automatic ECU)

why do you need a SAFC on a SOHC auto...?

actually its the VAFC and the motor is a 1.8 DOHC but the wiring harness and ECU go to a SOHC because I did a motor swap. And pretty soon the transmission is getting swapped out too.

just throw the DOHC ecu and harness in there... done. you should be able to get both for under $100 total.

if you have the 4 wire TPS and need a throttle % signal its green with a read stripe.

so you're trying to run a GTX motor with a SAFC and an auto B8 ecu?

i feel like maybe thats a few too many degrees of seperation...

BTW, the wiring between an auto and manual is quite different. Not only does the auto harness have 3 plugs instead of 2 at the ECU, the 2 that match the 5spd harness and ECU in size are not pinned the same as the ones on the 5spd.

So unless you plan on repinning the auto harness, you won't be able to use it with a 5spd ECU.
