cylinder misfire WILL NOT GO AWAY!

i have a 97 protege dx 1.5L manual, and it keeps throwing a code for cylinder 1 or random multiple cylinder misfire. i have replaced the plugs, wires, distributor, cleaned the throttle body and IAC, replaced the throttle body and IAC with a used one(it was cheaper to buy the whole TB than just the IAC, none of the junkyards will sell just an IAC anyways). none of these things helped at all.

    any ideas?

well, i pulled the spark plug on cylinder 1, no change in idle. pulled the injector and saw that one of the 2 pins on the injectors was bent in such a way that when the injector harness is plugged in, only one of the pins is actually making contact with the harness. i bent the pin back and plugged it in, immediately the car ran better. i cleared the codes, drove it, and wow, what a difference. the car runs great and the ac doesn't stall the car anymore!

too bad i wasted a bunch of money on parts i did not need.
