    Weld Lower control arm?

make story short the mounting tab for my sway bar link on the lower control arm is like split right down the middle on the top...
is it something I can weld? or do I need a new control arm?
and if I do where would be the best place to get it?

if its the mounting tab for the links, its not gonna matter, its not something to go rip it all off and get new over.... i weld many many things, and theres nothing wrong with welding something like that....

so welding 2 washers to it wouldnt be a bad idea? cus im not liking the idea of changing a whole control arm over a 1/4" crack...

even one good sized thick washer would be fine, unless you can get a peice of steel that thick, its actually pretty easy if you have a welder, and some grinding /cutting tools, shouldnt take more then a half hour really if your only doing one........ just make sure you have enough threads for the nut,
