splines between the two wheels are the same. the newer wheel didn't have the hole for the clock spring in the right place so I had to dismantle the wheel and do some cutting. also the back of the wheel needed some modifications for the turn signal nipples. bg wheel has the holes north south vs west east on the other. just marked the back and made new holes with a step bit. easy peesy

after the cutting and drilling. completed a test fit. I think it looks great in the old car. also removed the igniter from the airbag so it is depowered. all I need to do is figure out what im going to do to mount the bg cruise control buttons. I have an idea for that. when I complete it I will post up some pictures. so far I am happy with how it turned out. also this was the first thing I have done to the car in ages.

Why don't you modify or use cruise Buttons from that steering wheel, OK, cancel has no use.
If i remember right, BG cruise button is only 2 different resistance value.

Believe me. I try to find time to finish this. There is always something that comes up. Currently i have been switching my house over from oil heat boiler to forced air heat and a/c. So lots of gutting basement and electrical cleanup. Daily driver maintenance and long hours at work. When free time shows up, family functions and visit take priority. I still want this car done but it has become super long term. Posts will happen but slowly. By the way. Thanks for the compliment. The goal for this was to keep it clean looking and oem like, with the fun factor turned up

Hopefully soon. Seems like a broken record. Can't find time. When I do have time I have no money. Good news is the house heat has been converted and working great. Saving me some cash per month as well

Good to know you got your priorities straight.

I was kind of the same boat, between work, family and workout routines had no time so the project had to go. And I kind of lost the passion for it, found my new vein on trxs...

Oh I still have the passion. I'm seriously trying not to give up. Putting up a good fight. But now I'm adding a wedding to the mix of the daily life. Now I seriously have no money haha!
