Motor is in, a couple questions

first off, I cleaned my HLA's and they are clacking bad, naturally I took what oil they had in them out. How long should it take to pump them back up, and is there something I can do to help the process?

secondly i HATE coolant leaks... seems I have been plagued by them since the downfall of my turbo escort like 3 years ago. I cannot seal this damn coolant system and I sware I am going to kill something *looks over at pooch* ok not him but none the less any spiders or ants I see are going to be SORRY! Seems its dripping down from the waterpump inlet, I am assuming the oring on the hard waterline is what is doing it. I also just about cryed when I saw coolant chilling on the headgasket near the alternator... I think that is just from one of the small hoses under the intake *crosses fingers*

basically I hate my life right now! I wanted to solve all my problems outside of the car because I am such a big guy I HATE working on the front of the engine inside the bay... I can only hope it wont take a ton of work. sounds like my alternator is also whining... cannot complain too much it was a junkyard alternator and I have another *&%%#&&^&(^&(*(*&^*$$&*^*&()^$%&#$%&$%&*(&^*)&^^$$&^&*%&^$^# thats pretty much what Im thinking right now.

My engine sat for three years before I installed it and it took about 5 minutes or less for them to stop clacking. A little hi-temp silicone around the o-ring should seal the leak. Good luck and let the car sit for the night and get a fresh outlook tomorrow.
