Kia FE3 anyone?
There are 2 Sportage with FE3s at the local JY. Anyone interested in one of these engines? I might pull one out for myself.

there nto really worth it. you need so many parts from a imported fwd fe3 to install it in a fwd app, that after you spend the money for the extra parts, you would have been better off just buying the real fe3.
the kia's only use is to use parts off it. grab the head, and toss that up. bet someone would be intrested in that at least.

Pull the heads as pat said. heads with cams in them. they are not interference. & you could easily swap the motor into your MX3

Oh never mind then. So all I have to do is plug the front coolant whole of the head, and unplug the rear one? I can use a BP thermostat housing right? Also how do I get a FWD oil pan? Can I use the F2/F2T ones?Comment

So in my case, I will be using the F2 non-turbo tranny to go with the BG G-series axles? F2 flywheel and clutch? Sorry too many questions before I get myself into this.
