dropping pan without removing cs dp?

im trying to fix this annoying oil pan gasket leak, it turned out i was missing a bolt on the pan and when i tried to put one in it snapped, im trying to drop the pan take out the broken bolt and replace teh gasket and put a new bolt in. the car loves to leak oil and i have to put more in every week or so. the cs dp is welded onto the custom exhaust so what the hell should i do ? lol
    would this work? http://www.permatex.com/documents/PX...aynSeal.SS.pdf

Me personally I'd take it to a shop and have them put flanges right around the firewall so it will be easy to take that section off.

To fix that leak and be 100% sure it won't leak again take the time to drop the 1st set of hangers and unbolt the dp. Then you can drop the whole pan and have room.

unbolt the dp from the turbo. Undo as far back as you feel like on the exaust system, lay it on the ground. easier to get at your shifter area, too. It's only a few bolts. Time saved in working with the pan and the shifter will be worth it.

Anybody used that Permatex leak fixer spray mentioned above? Seems pretty iffy to me as to whether or not it would work. I have a leaky transmission on my DX that I would rather not pull the engine to fix but I'd hate to waste my time or money with something that doesn't work.
