              Like Ryan said, no vvt.

Tho I did work my ass of pulling tons of parts for this guy off the miata, plus this engine/trans for myself, I guess it depends on how you look at free lol.

What is your wastegate setting at? Also, what wastegate did you use for the hybrid? Any fabbing necessary?

I use a vf10 wastegate actuator. I had to drill new holes in the wastegate mount to mate up to the compressor housing with the way I had the housing clocked. I have a Perrin mbc, boost set @ 15psi.

Its supposed to be the angle of the intake ports that makes its flow better.

Found a modified, rebuilt and balanced 0-mile tbird turbo for cheap. Its been upgraded with a 16t wheel. Compressor housing and center has been machined to fit. Wheel size is ~ a mm smaller at the inducer than a vf12 at 43.4/56. The stock tbird (which Im running now) compressor wheel is 39/52.5. Not an extreme upgrade, but I made 212whp@13psi and ran 13.5@107 on 15psi on my current tbird turbo. I think thats "respectable" for what I have in the car as it is. So I snatched it up to see what it'll do..

I plan to use a vj11 turbine housing for the "bigger" A/R, on a gtx manifold modded for an external gate. Ill have to modify my cs downpipe for the ewg and also swap the flange for a vj11 flange. Luckily I have a few vj11 housings and a stainless vj11 flange just hanging around lol..

Either way, it sure is purty.

if that compressor housing had a steeper taper it would net significantly smoother flow transition across the blades.
Either way. your going to notice a serious step up from the T-bird. Your cold side inlet will prove the most important part.... fit a 2.5" AL intake pipe to a flange & taper that entrance more- port match the flange/pipe & enjoy.

your going to love it. how soon are you installing it tho??
