That's the same as schedule 10. Pretty solid manifold. Which guy did you get it from overseas?

Yeah its pretty stout. It was a dude in Malaysia, selling the manifold/gate/and VJ23 all together. Got a decent deal, couldnt pass it up. Turbo is in ridiculously good condition too.

Thought I might update this some. Sloowly making progress. Still busting rust around the windshield pinchweld. Its not rotted out, but pitted mostly around the whole way and getting all the rust out is time consuming. Trying to finish this up and then will be shooting it with epoxy primer and have the glass put in. I dont have enough air compressor to run a media blaster to be effective. Its been naval jelly, wire wheel in a big electric die grinder, rinse repeat.. about a 1/3rd left to go. Thankfully the metal isnt turning out too thin and I havent been able to poke any holes, yet.

On the up side, got the block and head mated up and finally got my GTR intake back from the machine shop (5 weeks), modded to fit the BP4W. Fits great just need to do a little porting.

So really, just need a windshield and swap the engine, then worry about everything else later lol.

Boy its been a long time.

Finally running under her own power, n/a for now. First fire up was 4th of July weekend. 170 miles on the new motor, still lots to do here and there. Right now just driving a few times a week and keeping an eye on things.

Tons of pics to edit and post up, few years worth. Better get at it lol. New parts list update coming.

Started with the windshield pinch weld. Took a good amount of time and work, but it dont leak! Epoxy primer laid, then windshield.

The mount I custom made from the stock filter bracket with some flat bar welded up to it and some mounting studs. Its pretty compact, but definitely was hard to find a decent spot

The kia trans has about 80k on it. I bought it off car-part.com.

I put new bearings, seals, and an M-factory 28 spline diff. The jack-shaft I also got off car-part too, from a different yard. It was bitched up pretty good. I was able to restore the metal seal covers, and put a new bearing in it. No pics of it tho. New kia axles.

I got the preload tools cheap off ebay luckily. The diff needed .006 shim. The primary/secondary shim measurements were the same as what came out, but I got new shims and spring shims anyway just too have them new. I used the Kia FSM for the specs. So far so good woopwoop lol! Running redline 75w90ns fluid.
