I don't see it up on ebay anymore. Maybe the guy took them down temporarily after I emailed him about what I had to do and that I would let the guys on-line know... Hopefully, he's checking his stock and making sure he's selling the right stuff as I requested because I would hate to see anybody go through what I went through to get one to fit.

I bought a TurbineTech underbody brace as part of a group buy on the Yahoo GTX Forum. I specifically told TurbineTech I needed one for a FWD (GT) rather than for a GTX since they make one for each. When I received the brace and went to install it, it was too wide. I contacted TurbineTech and told them they sent me a brace for an AWD instead of one for a FWD. They said to send it back and they would send me the correct brace. I asked if they were going to pick up the return shipping since this was their mistake. They originally said that the return shipping would be on me but they eventually agreed to pay. When I received the FWD brace it still took a bit of fussing to get it to fit but as LN323 said, it did stiffen things up so in the end I guess it was worth the hassle.

My neighbor has some really cool tools. He made me a custom "heat shield" out of 1/4" aluminum plate that he laser-scribed Mazda 323 GT onto it. Okay, it's more bling than heat shield, but I can't wait to bolt it on!

I'll take some pics when I get it on, too.

Um, heat? Or, in this case, so that I can remember what I'm driving? I know.... you took your heat shield off too, right?

I look in his yearbook that he got at the end of last week and they even have a section (page) on the "cool" cars that students have been driving. My car is in the yearbook!!!! Woot! LOL I'll try to take a pic of it and show you guys.
Okay, sorry for the delay. This is long overdue, but I finally got a picture of the picture of my car in my youngest son's senior yearbook. how cool is this?.....

Got the bling-bling exhaust heat-shield mounted finally. Had to go to the hardware store to get some nice stainless steel bolts and washers.

Got a spare bedroom.... come out and visit.

Forgot that I also have a 323 wagon solid rear sway bar on my car. It's about 17mm in diameter. I added it to my master list that I posted earlier. Wonder what else I forgot?

I just swapped out the throttle cable with the one for the cruise control (thanks to AZ). Still don't have all the cruise control parts in yet. Too damn cold and wet. Besides, the boys are home from college and I have to work on the B2200 truck while it's in town. Been thinking about turbocharging the truck. LOL
