i run a BP N/A (tx3) pressure plate and lightened flywheel on mine (215mm) but i actually use the 225mm b6t clutch plate which fits in perfect. the TX3 flywheel looks similar to the 4wd one in that pic with the steps on it.

i'm curious how much it has been thinned on the clutch face, thats the critical measurement for keeping your pressure plate from rubbing inside the trans.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Lbs. @ 23 PSI

ring gear doesnt have to be changed, the stock ring and starter are retained. if you read the clutch/flywheel section of the first post, you'll understand what i'm talking about.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Lbs. @ 23 PSI

Theres what i have on the starter snout, on my first attempt.
Id like to add that i didnt have to take any steps off the flywheel for good clutch operation. Nor for clutch's rubbing in the bellhousing. I do believe if you use the smaller bellhousing levin style box you need to do this but with the bigger celica box's you dont... (obviously i use a celica box, otherwise i need to buy a levin and put a transfer on it)

josh you are probably using a gtx/gtr flywheel and clutch, right? if so thats probably why everything clears
if you are using the n/a gear, it seems to depend on the brand of clutch. ftjandra is using an ACT brand clutch, which cleared everything while mine did not.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Lbs. @ 23 PSI

yes the big step flywheel moves the pressure plate out a LOT, probably 10-15mm assuming the friction surface is in the same locationEscort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Lbs. @ 23 PSI
