yeah i should have it out of storage in a few weeks, at that point i'm planning to bring it in for an alignment. the last time, they let me out in the shop... hoping they will do that again and i can get some pics of it on the lift.

i have several friends who work at shops but unfortunately none of them have alignment racks... they are also not nearby lol.

So the Toyota axles fit in the stock hubs?

They fit stock GTR hubs, I dunno about stock bg 4lug. I'll try and check on that.

'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

you'd either have to swap a BP in there (that's what vtec-this is doing) or design your own adapter plate for whatever motor you do have. the axles will work, which is one of the biggest hurdles with a swap like this.

Ive been looking thrue this thread and the sales thread...

But im wondering what is the use of this? Is the Toyota box
                        stronger then the Gseries?

And so basicly let me get this right... To use this I would
need the adapter plate thingy. The gearbox offcourse, and
either toyota axles, or the Gseries axles???

But still then I come back to the first question what is the
                        gain in doing this?

The Toyota gearbox is a beast, an absolute tank. People run over 500 ft-lbs through them for long periods of time without issues. I blew up a g-series in 3k miles with 325 ft-lbs. Make sense now?

You need to read the how to again, I explain all the parts required etc. It requires some fab work, and is definitely not something I'd suggest doing just for the hell of it.

yeah, after typing my post above ive found some pictures showing how much
                            bigger the toyota box is.

interesting and also the lsd for it is very interesting as i do want to race with the car. Together with new interals i can run it at full power next year, at time attack.

Now ive got to find out which european models have that gearbox.

How much heavier in weight would the toyota box be????

                            Thanks
