Going back on when I get some free time to paint it. I had to take it off anyways when I started to clay bar the whole body. It's a very tight squeeze between the wing and the hatch for doing that kind of work properly. Wanted to make sure I got everything as best as I could.

Got around to doing the vents earlier this morning. See what you think was getting dark quick and the camera wasn't liking it, so the pics may look blurry.

Not really a fan of those vents. But good work.

I like the cossie vents alot personally. Doesn't really matter though, because once I convert the front end, I won't be using that hood anymore. Figured I'd at least finish it for now.

i liked the idea of the vents when i saw the holes in your hood, i'm sure if you color match everything i'll flow with the car a bit more...not saying it doesnt already i like it!

                      Here's an update

Freshly dyed with Rit, the spare carpet I had. Cam didn't like how black it is, I'll get a better pic in daylight and once installed.

Looks good. Also how long did you leave it in the dye?

Just about 3 days all together which included flipping and reversing it inside the bin to make sure it got evenly dyed.

Looks good yes, but I do however question how it'll do with UV damage and fading. I'm thinking I should apply some scotchgard to it before putting it to the test. Someone also makes a UV protection called sunarmor, maybe something I'll have to look in to. I'd really hate to get it put in, only to have it fade a few weeks down the road.

Carpet is in :D looks really good... about adding some kind of UV/Scotchgard to it before tossing it in, well I still can later on but it's in for now. I'll grab some pics in a little while.
