    Differences between 103Kw and 96Kw??

    323 GT 140cv: http://www.zeperfs.com/fiche1010-mazda-323-gt.htm
    323 GTi 128cv: http://www.zeperfs.com/fiche873-mazda-323-gti.htm

    Is that correct??

Why is there so much difference in weight? (GTi)1035kg vs (GT)1169kg.

The 128cv was named GTí???I thought it was called GT too...

In many magazines 128cv appears as 131cv, why???Are there differences??

Sorry by the questions, I´m intrigued...

this is mostly a US based site, so the information you're looking for might not be accurate...

but i'd imagine the weight difference would be sunroof, and power interior options.

Difference in power might be the unleaded vs the leaded version, we know the compression ratio and intake cam is different on the leaded version...so who knows lol.

        to answer your questions

        My 1991 Astina GT (BP22, 104kw engine) was 1040kgs
103-104kw engines are built for Leaded fuels, but run "ok" on lower octane unleaded....but otherwise more powerful than the J-spec engines Full Stop (including Infini engine!)

the reason the "GTi" as You put it weights less because they dont come with Air conditioning as standard.

In NZ all our "GT models Dont have air conditioning facotyr fitted and all include the 103kw BP22 engine and the results are a nice 8.2 sec to 0-100 in stock factory trim, exhaust and and filter upgrades get it below 8 seconds too

        hope that helps

The 323 GTI in the UK, came with 140 BHP in 1990. in 1991 this was reduced to 130 BHP because the car was now fitted with a catalytic converter and other emission stuff, to meet new regulations. I would imagine that this was also the case for the worldwide market. Over here it was only ever marketed as GTi, not GT
As standard it came with power windows, central locking, electric sunroof and alloy wheels.
The weight is down as 1035KG on the sales paperwork.
