The rear header has it's collector cut off cause it hit the subframe.

A regular muffler clamp took it's place but it contacted the sub frame under the stress of lapping days, I figure the band style muffler clamps will fix it for good since they provide proper clearance from the subframe. Pacesetter has it's share of haters, but with the V6 they make more power then the other brands-period :-)

The Pacesetter Y pipe is pretty rough, lots of aftermarket companies have sexy super highflow Y connectors, of course they are not Pacesetter money though LOL. I will likely re-visit the exhaust again.

She was just in hibernation mode. Not exactly sure what my motorsport goals are this summer but I am sure the 323 will get some sort of track time. I really want to try "king of the hill" style oval track racing with it. I kinda fell short of getting the Locost done, the Mustang will be on the road, but I think I am going to retire it from racing duties this round. I have 90% of the parts to finish the Locost, so wrenching might get in the way of racing this summer.

I was waiting to post until I had a good update LOL. My neighbor backed into my daily driver 323 $1400 worth of just mechanical repairs which she stiffed me for. (Think entire rear suspension and two tires) I was driving the 326 daily, the clutch master was leaking at the plastic swivel fitting (as they like to do). I lost all clutch action and jammed it in third wrecking the third gear synchro.

I have been working really hard on beating the dead horse. (My Mustang). I had it all back together and stripped the flex plate gear. I have it in 5000 pieces right now. I ordered a bellhoushing from Georgia and a new flexplate from California. The flexplate is specific to Mustang II, but I have a later model 5.0L H.O in it, so the flexplate is specific to a Mustang II with a H.O 5.0L swap. The engine overheated and blew a head gasket also. So I need to re-seal it and put it back in. It got so hot that the insulation burnt off the alternator power lead which caused a short and did some minor electrical damage to the engine harness.

On the 326 front, I devised a over-engineered plan to stop the master from leaking and I purchased a used transmission for it.

Somebody, I hope not the same neighbor LOL backed into the 326 also :-(

My car season is turning into a bad country song so-far LOL. Having daily internal struggles as to what I should fix first. At this moment, I want to get the Mustang running (it has been off the road for 4 years), replace the clutch master on the 326 and drive it without the ability to downshift into third from forth for the rest of the summer. Then replace the 326 transmission and possibly clutch over the winter and put a new door on it :-) I have $10000 worth of new parts sitting in my basement to go on the Locost also, which is driving me crazy.

Too early to be fond of it, I am not sure it is going to clear everything yet. I had hoped the 1/2" NPT fitting would have threaded flush or at least further down. If it works, everybody can be fond of it :-)

Good point Mazda_powered, it is like wiring, if you look at all 1000 wires at once, you will loose your mind, just hook up one wire at a time, and before you know it, it's all wired. So if I do one car repair at a time they should all be fixed before I die

npt taps are tapered.... so unless you cut the tap down you would never be able to thread it enough to screw the fitting all the way down.

Did a test fit tonight, ever so slightly hitting the pinch weld for the wiper cowl. Going to give it a small notch.
