Had fun at my church on the week-end. Was all set to modify my Energy Suspension sway bar bushings. They were universal, but they actually directly bolted on! (That never happens) LOL (MX-3 Suspension)

Made brackets for my remote mount brake fluid reservoir.

I only have drill bits to 3/8 so I bought this little kit to enlarge the holes. I have used this kit before, it worked, but not so well on the aluminum.

    Painted some nasty looking stuff.

I just used a no-name flat black spray paint made by Tremclad / Rust-oleum. It is wet in the photos. It will dry very flat. I used it on all the chassis parts on the Mustang II too, it holds up really well.

When it is dry it looks like this:

Your not kidding. I seperated the rubbermade bins of MaZda into metal, plastic, and rubber for simplicity. I don't even know what the bin of rusty tin brackets is for. I guess I will clean and paint them as I figure out where they go. LOL

Made a bracket to put my brackets on. LOL Basically the brake fluid reservoir will be where the battery was. The battery will be in the front left corner where the air box was. The air box will be gone and a home brew cold air intake with a K&N filter will take its place. Other then that, the rad will fit where the A/C condenser would be (if it had A/C). It is like bringing a baby home from the hospital, except this baby is a V6 from Japan. After a little reorganizing, I am sure the straight neck KLZE will be happy in it's new home.

Put the pedal pads on the brake and clutch. Have not found the 323's gas pedal....yet.

Brake low fluid level warning light. Usually comes on under braking when your pads are down to almost 0 as the reservoir level dips.

Had fun at the garage today. Got the pedal box back together and installed. I also installed the master / booster, front suspension and brakes.

Waiting on the Wilwood brake fluid proof rubber hose to finish off the reservoir project.

The rotors are from a company called KVR. They are "J" hooked and Cad plated black. The swept surface will become bare silver. I left the swept surface black to keep them from rusting while the car goes back together. (I will prep them when it is closer to go time). I paint the rear wheel wells and removed the $200 323 rear suspension I was using to roll the car around. The MX-3 rear suspension is almost ready to go in.

The primary reason the brake light comes on is when you loose your brake fluid, like when you have a brake / flex line / Caliper leak or wheel cylinder leak. It is hard to see in the 323, but all it is is a little float with a contact on it. The float "floats" on top of the brake fluid. When the fluid leaves the system, the float sinks, makes contact and your brake light comes on to warn you, your up poop creak without a paddle. (in this case brakes) LOL

Mazda Powered & bomdoutscourt: Ya thinkin' the MX-326GS is going to come together pretty quickly now. Gave my needy gurl friend (major time suck) her pink slip, so I have nothing but time...........now if only I had some money.

if persay you plan to give it a true thrashing you would be advised to change the position of the brake master to inline with the car rather then against. move it 90° towards the firewall
