    check engine light

    im getting a check engine light, for my O2 sensor. i replaced and its still says the O2 sensor is bad. only comes up when its hot. what can i do to get rid of this problem?

    Check you intake tube for leaks and cracks, or vacuum lines etc... Carb and choke cleaner can help with this. Also check the wiring for the O2, your pins at the connector, and the wiring itself for damage, )heat and corrosion(...

      Well. The thing is that i just put the motor 2gether in11/09 in the 323 the same way a pull it out the protege. But with a new o2. only come`s on hiway not city. Wath u guy`s think

        afm starting to read weird maybe, the only times i ever got cel's for the o2 was when i was playing with the air meter.... is it a lean or rich code?

          AFM sounds about right as well, if your to rich or lean no matter most of the time you'll throw the dtc for the o2. But as well if you have a vacuum leak/cracks on intake tube, vacuum lines etc. Could also cause this issue.

            It`s rich as hell. Now am using SOHC harnes. What 2 do? And I all ready check 4 vac leaks. Could the o2 have a ground problem?
