And there's a possibility that there is a hook on the upper strut mount that catches on the lip of the strut tower top, so if you've got both nuts off the top mount and it still wont drop out the bottom, like it's caught on something, then you've got that hook holding you up. Pain in the ass hook.

Also it is somewhat hard to access the top front bolt.

Pull out the back seat and remove the side pad makes life a bit easier..

I have the two nuts off the top and the two bolts out of the spindle and it still isn't budging at all. Is this the hook keeping it in place? Where is this hook? On Top? Up high underneath?

You can push on the hook from inside the car...It is on the trunk side of things. You should be able to "wiggle" or move the strut once the bolts are off the spindle on the bottom. By your description, it sounds like it won't move at all?????

I was in a car accident and the strut is bent. This could be why. ???

Yes, it could. If the strut got torqued, then you may need a large prybar or something to help "convince" the strut to come out. If the suspension was bent (TTLs, link, swaybar), it may be preloading the strut, and trapping it in place.

Pictures would help, if you can supply any.
