solidworks is amazing... I've been using the sheet metal feature, you can add flanges and such and then press the unfold button and it shows you what you need to cut it out as before you fold it up, and gives you lines where to fold everything!

As usual my back burner is getting full with projects I'd like to get finished. Some day soon however I will get around to doing this.
This model was not made in solidworks but rather another 3d program I use for rough drafts and quick visual concepts. This is something I've been toying with in my head for a better suited ITB design. I've yet to incorporate this in with my manifold base for flow testing. Remember this is just a rough draft which is nowhere near completed, but you get the general concept from it.
think about a custom intake to fit the 99 miata head...the intakes flow so much better than the earlier bp's, but for us with the transverse mounted engines, the 99 miata intake won't work...sooo...hmmm
(head swaps, and exh is same, but intake ports are higher)
