Well as (dumb) luck would turn out, I came home super stoked tonight to remove the ugly heavy moldings and the 3M double sided tape that I used to hold them on when I painted the car in 2005 (almost 12 years ago) pulled off long sections of paint...doh, dang and damn! So it looks ugly and now I have to more than likely paint the doors from the mid crease down and blend it. The rear doors and front fenders also have guide holes for the molding that I will more than likely fill at the same time.

It just ain't EZ being Cheesy!

No clips just tape but yes there will be 2 holes for the alignment pins. Your paint/body guy can fix that. I had them filled on my black car.

I used to live in Colorado Springs, I moved from there to Houston in 2009. I miss the Front Range and its natural beauty, I used to bounce back and forth to Pueblo often as I have lots of friends and family there.

Why are car companies so strange? The longer front doors have no guide pins for the moldings..which are the longest sections but yet the rear door and the tiny section on the front fender have two (2) guide holes each.

          Left side removed easily...no problem:

With the paint pulled off from removing the moldings, I decided to take the car to my friend's body shop to have them fill the molding holes and also paint and blend the sides, I am picking up the car today.

Car back from being painted and I re-installed the door handles, locks and interior panels tonight. I really like the cleaner look without the moldings and its nice to have the guide holes filled and also take care of some scratches from the years gone by.

Out of curiosity with the door moldings and mud flaps removed, I saved 9lbs.

                  ^^^ Thank-you my friend!

I think I'm going to add the "DOHC 16V Turbo" GTX decal along the rear door to break up the wall or red a bit, I think that will look sweet.

                  This one:

Thanks, I appreciate it! Oh yes..15x6.5. I think the "right" 16" would look good on the car, but not really interested in a different set of wheels at this time.
