    Mazda Seals on Kia trans

I ordered and have a Mazda shift shaft seal and bushing and mazda axle seals. However I wanted to know for sure before I remove the old seals that they will fit. I understand the axle seals will be fine but it appears to me that the dust lips on the axles seals are going to rub against the stub shaft metal lip as it rotates. I bought kia axle seals to compare and their dust shield is smaller and doesn't seem to rub. What would you guys do? I like the mazda seals because they are oem obviously and made for this app. but I don't know if they are going to get messed up by the metal lip on the stub shaft. I won't exactly know how close the lip of the stub shaft comes to contact with the dust lip on the seal until they are all installed and bolted up..

Seriously? Posting in other threads isn't going to get you an answer any quicker and most BG owners know very little about the BH chassis.

yeah i used the mazda oil seals on axles to. had to get seal FROM mazda...parts store ones just werent workin and kept leakin. oreilleys, napa and auto valu all **** out right away. put a Mazda factory seal in and cleared it right up... 3 times as much..but no leaky from axle seals.

hmm well I'll see how the lip of the mazda seal and the metal lip on the kia intermediate shaft/stub shaft interact and I'll let you guys know. I have to rebuild my rx7's clutch master and clutch slave cylinders now before I can start my clutch install on the GT....I hate 23 year old parts and how they just take a SH** when you are about to depend on them lol.
