Do they have the same mounting points? I am just thinking ahead so that if I break a tranny I won't have a hard time finding another mx3 gs.

Same mounting points but maybe different mounting brackets. Not really sure but they interchange. Seen probe guys with mx3 trans and seen mx3 guys with probe trans.Cincinnati, ohio Bengals for life

same trans. same gearing.
it will bolt up. just re-use your mx3 sending unit, and brackets/mounts.
the mx6 and 626 have the taller gearing.
