    Remove Axle from CV Shaft

I'm having trouble, how do you remove the axle from the CV shaft on the passenger side of a 93 Protege LX DOHC manual? Any input helps, thanks.

Unbolt your ball joint and remove the axle nut. Pull the spindle away from the car and remove the axle from the spindle. Then you take the 3 bolts holding the halfshaft out and pull. It should come out real easy.

thats the halfshaft. and hub. i thought you were trying to seperate the axle from the cv. lol. your trying to remove the axle hub, from the midshaft.

all it takes is a hammer. there is no trick or special tool. you have to hit the hub part with a hammer. thats it. there is no clip or anything you have to remove. that is only slid on.
