pfft. upside down is baller? maybe if you have the balls of a three-year-old.
I have 29 of them, end-to-end, mounted on the belt-line of my 323 instead of cheesy black rubber molding. sand-blasted and powdercoated with a prismatic coating, and mounted with nickel-chrome plated spikes. So it's like a spiked dog collar of irridescent MX-3 tie bars. I'm collecting more bars, because Chuck Norris called and wants me to make him a kit like that too.

It's called a "Lower" Front Tie Bar...It attaches at the back of the control arms. I'm going to get an "Upper" Front Tie Bar Fabbed up next, that attaches to the front of the control arms.
You can also tie both bars together like this one from pierce motorsports.

I still see minimal reasoning for it. altho i would need an in cabin feel before making my own decision.
personally i think frame rail supports would be more beneficial then something like this.---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---

Read the Description under Lower Front Tie Bar for information
Tie bars come in upper and lower designs for most cars that have unibody and independent suspension. They are primarily aftermarket parts, with the exception of vehicles like the Honda Integra and the Civic Type-R models, where they come as standard component applications. Tie bars are made by several manufacturers, ...1996 Escort LXR 2.0L SPI swap (R for Rally [spec]!)
