Some more progress has been completed. Projector is mounted and was temporarily put on the car to aim it. The shroud is trimmed, but still needs to be permanently fixed to the projector. Too much was cut off the top, but no one is going to see it with the hood down. You can still see some of the projector housing behind the shroud, but not really enough to notice if you just walk by and glance at the car. Well, on to the pics.....


Projector mounted, shroud set in, no lens.


The light isn't on, that's just the camera flash.


With the light on. Low beam, I believe.


Low beam from the driver's seat. Only about 3' from the garage door, I'll obviously take pics from farther away when it's done.


High beam. Again, very close to the door.

Still need to be done:
Tear apart passenger headlight
Mount passenger projector
Permanently mount shrouds
Wire up DRL's
Take lens off JDM headlights
Put JDM lenses on USDM housing
Clean up
Show off

That is gonna look HOT when it is finished, nice progress. You are making alot faster progress then i thought u were going to make.

Thanks. I've already got them both mounted, shrouds mounted and all wired up. Just nedd to figure out my DRLs and put the JDM lenses on and they'll be done. I'm on my phone right now, but when I get on the computer i'll post a couple pics.

Looks like they are gonna be sweet, have u decided wether or not you will make the housing black or leave chrome?

Yup, I left them chrome. Got everything finished up. Just need to readjust them a bit (pointing up, not level) then some pics of the finished product.

I'll hopefully be able to take some night pics after work today. I just adjusted to headlights after taking those last three pics, so they should be as close to perfect as I can get right now.

Low beams. The grass is higher than where the car is parked and they might be pointing down a bit.


High beams.

The driver's side is pointed way left, and I think the passenger's side might be also. I'll address that issue tomorrow night, too tired to care right now. As long as they're not pointing up into other drivers' faces, I'm fine with it.
