Test drive was alright. the rears rattled a bit cuz the nut on the strut wouldn't go down all the way. Got out the impact and hammered them down so everythings all tight and no more rattling. It's a nice ride so far. Doesn't feel too much lower, but Ace said they need to settle in. Went over a speed bump and knock the exhaust a bit and broke off a hanger though, hahaha. That thing was so rusted it was about to fall off anyway. I'll fix that tomorrow. Haven't gotten an alignment yet. Pics will be up in the next few days, I need to find a place to take some pics of the car for a "before and after" kind of thing.

You should buy my Megan adjustable rear links in my FS thread before you do the alignment.
So that you can do camber and toe adjustment in the back ;-)

The front is less than an inch lower and the rear is just over and inch and a half. I'll measure again in a few days to let them settle a bit. Still need to take a pic of the car for a before and after comparison.

an inch does sound like much, but does make it look alot better. How does it ride now.

Rides real well. No excessive bouncing and it's not that hard either. Rattles a little, but that's from the muffler heat shield I think. Lokks nice too, I need to get a pic of the whole car at some point.

Not only does it ride nice, it looks nice also. Got the rest of the week off from work so I should be able to get some pics of this thing to show its stance.

Also, I've decided the projector retrofit will be my winter project. These are the parts:

                  Bi-Xenon FX-R projectors:

                  Matsu****a Gen IV Ballasts:

                  Morimoto 5000K D2S bulbs:

                  Gatling Gun shrouds:

                  H4 Bi-Xenon harness:

All this for $360 and free shipping. Might go with different shrouds, but not too interested in the others they sell so I'll probably stay with the gatling guns. The 5000K bulbs are supposedly pure white. Still don't know what I'll do about the city lights thing though. Any thoughts?

I'd wire them to a switch inside separate from the actual lights.
Also, I've seen people paint the shrouds black with good results.

Wiring isn't really a problem. I might keep it the way it is or have a seperate switch, not sure yet. The real question is what/how. Should I just stick a bulb in there like the JDM lights have or go a little further with some small fog lights next to the headlight projector? I'm going to go to Autozone tomorrow to see if what they have for fog lights and if anything would work.

whatt? no.. no way a projector would look good there....

i thought you were replacing your stock h4 with a projector..now that's a good idea.

as for the city light..i had LED's in there once..looked really well.. just front facing ones.

I am replacing the H4 with a projector, but I don't want to cut up the JDM headlight. I'm using the USDM housing with the JDM lens so I'll be losing that city light. I'm just throwing out ideas right now anyway, nothing's official yet.
