I always have issues sleeping, haha. We'll see if it gets any worse now that the money has been removed from my account. He's been a bit slow to reply lately so I hope he gets back to me tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest about the payment.

Well, got some bad news just now....


Apparently the bank info I was given was incorrect. The info was for a Wells Fargo Bank, and they use Chase. I'm at work right now and can't call the bank so it'll have to wait until tomorrow, unfortunately. I'll be calling my bank as well as the Wells Fargo that I was given info for. God damn it, should have just sent a check like I wanted to in the first place, but he preferred bank transfer. This is why I ask specific questions and expect specific answers. Problem is, I only get half the information I ask for. So stressed out right now, feel like I'm gonna be sick :/

Got the bank **** sorted out. Just hope I get a text or email soon saying they got their money and I can arrange for the car to be picked up so this nightmare will be over.

It's been worrying me too. I would much rather preferred a check or even PayPal transfer, but he insisted a wire transfer would be easier/quicker. Well, it probably would have been if I wasn't given wrong information the first time. Going to text his wife tomorrow afternoon to see if they got it because I haven't heard anything from either of them all day.

It'll go smoothly, it's just your first time doing this type of transaction, so you're bound to hit a few speed bumps on the way man!

Protect yourself. Gather as much info as you can to save for, who knows what.
Be patent. When they stop corresponding is when you should be worried.

Well I just called my bank and was told the money was sent successfully and texted his wife asking her to let me know if they got it (which they should have). If I don't get a reply soon I'm calling their house phone to at least leave a message if no one answers.

Honestly, I'll probably never do something like this again, way too stressful. I wish I just took a few days off from work and flew down with the cash in hand and just drove the car up here. I'd probably have it in the driveway by now if I just did that.

Edit: Haven't gotten a text or anything back from the wife so I left a message on their home phone. If I still don't get anything by tomorrow I'm calling their bank to see if they can confirm the money is in their account. I kind of doubt the bank will give me that kind of information, but I hope explaining the situation will help. If not, I have all his bank info, phone numbers and home address and will go down and talk face to face if need be. Hope it doesn't come to that, but if all else fails, it's always an option.


Edit 2: On my way to work and I got a text from his wife. They got the money so I'll be calling Stateway Transport first thing tomorrow morning to get a pick up date set. So much stress has just been relieved. Now I'm just anxious to get the car up here and drive it. Hopefully shipping goes smoother than everything else so far.
