Having problems with getting the signature to show so here are a few pics and the link to my ride on our local Mazda owners club forum: http://www.mazdaownersclub.co.za/vie...hp?f=35&t=4928

          Replaced the seats:

Still looking for a replacement for the black panel between the rear lights that does not have the numberplate recess to fit with the new bumpers I put on:

Replaced the clocks. The stock one did not have a rev counter:

          Stock 1.3 carburetor motor:

And my car representing the club:

Overall she looks pretty good for a 22 year old car.
But there are still some issues to be sorted out.

Ooh a five door! I like those. They never came to the US, but I think Canada got them.

Your car looks great. Like brand new. :D Keep it up.

Thanks! Yeah I like the look of the car. Just something about the fastback look... The 1.3 is just amazingly slow but it's quite happy to do high rpm's so still great fun. Really want to do a B6T swap. Just need the cash and time haha.

Wow, I looked at your local forum.... Seems like South Africa is the place to find super clean older mazdas. Everything I saw looked amazing.

I'm curious though, are there any BGs there?

We got the BF shape like mine in 4 and 5 door only here in SA with 1.3 carb, 1.6 carb, 1.6i, some 2.0 8 valve guises and then the 2.0 16valve fe3 motor. Never got the b6t here The BF shape 323 was built locally by samcor and sold here until 2003 so there are even some new old mazdas to be found here haha. Sadly because they kept on selling the BF we did not get all the other shapes here. Think the next one was the Astina (BA shape) that we got and from there we got all f them again.

I am currently only on this forum and our local MOCSA forum.

You got fe3 BFs? That's awesome.

What do the 130 and 160 badges mean?

Really? I saw one a while back on craigslist. I wonder where it came from then....

The 130/160 designated the engine size, 1.3L, 1.6L, 2.0 (FE goodness)

Hmm well if you saw one then I learned something new today
I was thinking we shared your BF GTX stock back in the day and assumed we did the same with the lesser BF 323s, guess not?

Oh right. I should have figured that one out.

I'm not overly confident in that sighting. You know how craigslist can be.
