    higher compression pistons? from a miata?

    or just not damaged stock pistons\rings that were there before?

      the new engine has automatic transmission pistons from a miata which apparently are higher compression pistons.

          These engines handle well the "high" comp pistons, I had the Miata 10:1 on a 1.8 and handled very good.

          If one thing I hate about the Mazdas is how they went cheap on the paint. My 323 is a 1990 and is peeling all over, in fact I stopped washing it else it would be in bare metal.
