why would I do that? Today came the set of Gates ethanol rated lines. I will probably install them next week.

its more to keep the ethanol from sucking up moisture when it sits or get humid....but also keeps the system clean

Ethanol only eats rubber/plastic, but no metal. So since I'm changing all the rubber lines I don't have to worry about it.

I discovered that not running a factory oil cooler is bad on a turbo set up lol! I took mine out when I was running N/A and it was fine back then, but now that I'm turbo, my oil gets really hot/black and drops pressure (non synthetic). I'm picking up a RX-7 oil cooler and mating that with a oil filter relocation kit. I hope people can learn not to remove your OEM oil cooler when you are boosting from my experience

what was your oil pressure dropping to?? I've seen mine go to about 18 when it over heated on me the one day, usually it's dead on 20psi @ idle once it's warm though, 40 while driving.

it goes down to 5-0 psi. It's bad! I did pick up an RX-7 oil cooler!!! but for now I'm rocking the OEM one....and it still drops under 10psi at idle ****!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope 10w40 will bring it back up.

Thanks Ryan. I've gone through years of project cars and nothing makes me happier than this forum and the good memories with my old MX-3. Not to mention that my girlfriend now supports my passion for cars as she does like cars too. I do have a plan to build a bad ass MX-3!
