Found out that the oil leak from my valve cover has taken the tape off my engine harness and some possitive and negative wires touched. I started the car after moving some wires and started just fine. I re-did my valve cover gasket and now I'm going to work on cleaning all the oil mess that I have

Glad to hear that it wasnt anything serious. I am not sure why your having such an issue with your valve cover gasket, have you tried some liquid gasket instead?

I think last time I did the valve cover gasket, I didn't clean up the old RTV very well. This time I was patient and got off all the RTV. How's your car coming along?

So I replaced the valve cover gasket with an ebay one that I had laying around, and after going nuts with rtv (the right stuff) I finally got it to seal. I also added a NOS energy drink oil catch can lol!

So E85 will eat up your lines pretty bad. At the ends of the injectors I have some black slimy stuff (rubber line residue), and the fuel filter is getting plugged up. I will change the lines for ethanol friendly as well as a new fuel filter, hopefully next month

take some pics while your in there, the only spot i really question on mine would be the filler hose, the hose inside the tank to the pump, and maybe some o rings, but ive had good luck so far with fords lines.... makes me wanna do the fuel filter and check the in tank hose, and switch it out to something made for e85 now tho..lol....

I ordered e85 rated fuel lines and I'm using a flex fuel filter out of a 2002 Tahoe

I found similar **** in my tank filter and pump screens when the walbro died. It's gotta be a byproduct from the 10% in our local fuels.. The stuff is black/grayish almost glue like tackiness to it.
