Loving the "form follows function" approach. Looking forward to learning about the performance specs. I've seen many killer BFs here (CP), but this one seems to be the deadliest. I was a bit surprised to see the Fram oil filter -they are among the worst according to clips on youtube.

hey you got some pictures of the manifold of the car? it looks like a twin scroll set up witht he 2 ewg, but i didnt think you could use a ramhorn to do this cause you need to connect the 1,4 cylinder and 2,3? so that the pulses are the same. i could be wrong but i would like to know more

You're right about the pulse thing, Hotwheels. Give the last photo (overhead shot of engine bay) a closer look and you'll see the waste-gate runners come from the 1+4 and 2+3 sides of the merge collector.

Thats it 1+4 are the tubes closest to the engine and 2+3 go under then up and over and form the other tubes and wastegates come of each runner close the the turbo plate

Yeah the normal an fittings seep and you can always smell fuel so decided using teflon line with proper fittings, plus the line is actually smaller in O.D. so is easyer to fit places

love the build. everything about it is very sweet. oil filter relocation im not so keen on. you are going to have one oily ass fender well and a huge mess on your hands.

GM had that style on their mid/early 90s blazers and jimmys and such. terrible...all the contents of the filter would drain into the fender liner and its a nightmare. not flaming you..just giving you constructive criticism. ya cant flame on a sweet ass project like this!

and yes...fram is one of the worst filters out there. Wix from what i've heard is one of the better ones.

we have cut a fram open at work and there is hardly anything in there. we run all wix filters on the track miatas. napa brand filters ARE wix filters that are relabeled and cheaper.

I dont see how i am going to end up with a oily mess? I Dont plan on having any leaks, and filter changes are easy to do with out spilling oil everywhere

yeah have looked in to the filters now, Mobil one race filters seem to be the best so gona to try and get some of those

i cut open a mobil one and and a bosch filter from the same car and they were almost identical. cut open an STP one and it had a hard plastic housing instead of metal. so watch on certain STP filters.

this car is going to be pretty nasty!

Those custom mounts mean serious business -you may want to invest in a HANS system.

I really dig the ITBs (like who doesn't?). Are they 45mm each? Once read somewhere about velocity/runner length being an important factor on naturally aspirated engines, but the article never clarified if the same applied to forced induction.

                              Keep posting!
