Today’s Nice Price or Crack Pipe Familia GTX is the 323 - for America at least - that was never meant to be. It’s RHD, AWD, and JDM, but you need to determine if this rare Mazda’s price is Jay-Day-Um.

Is this your car if so you paid too much

Yes in fact that is the one. Paid 8k for it. I did see it in person and drove it. And it is impressive. And unbelievably clean. I have all maintenance records back to the first day it was purchased in Japan. 69k original kilometers. Mint, and i mean literally from the showroom floor condition. Im rather happy with it....unless someone knows something i dont

can you drive it on the street legally? Do you have to have special insurance. Although you can't get them in the us they sell for way less in other countries and you can buy a gtx in other countries with shipping for less than 8K. gtr's will be able to import fairly soon. If your happy i guess that's all that matters. Hope to see more posts and pictures from you.

Although other gtxs "may" be able to be imported and i do strongly doubt they are in this good condition as this is perfect. However you cant get a gtx or similar vehicle to your door for less than 11-12k even if it was bought for 6. Between importing fees taxes inspections blahblah etcetc the price nearly doubles. For me this particular car was quite a glod deal.

Also, what car gives you awd, at least 200hp, and only 40k miles for less than $8k??

Yes. I know where the car was purchased and for how much. However this isnt what was paid for the car or to have it imported here. The person who sold it was DYING and auctioned it off. In any NORMAL circumstance where you have to do all the work yourself, 11-12k. Trust me, i was going to do it.
Additionally. Its in mint condition, i was able to drive it before purchasing etc. You cant do that with a car that is still in Japan.

Came from the Bennett auction...that was a well spent afternoon watching that one. If you want a down pipe post a wtb for a cork sport piece for a BG GTX. As for upgrades just buy the GTR motor and goodies that are for sale right now and swap it in. You could moth ball the original motor and save it for the originality of the car down the road.

But seriously, why would you want to even put a wrench to such a fine original example of something that nobody has. Just my .02. Enjoy it as it was built.
