Now I just need to street tune it, I also need to add an adjustable FPR , it runs too rich at idle.

It's addictive, my eBay boost controler had the check valve wrong and I say 22psi today...Now the 15-16psi seems like nothing lol. Next phase is to build the engine, it runs strong but it's eating oil, so if I'm going to take it apart I might as well build it, or aquire another engine and build it.

Update....I didn't blow it up, but I was having cooling issues and oil consumption and really low oil presser issues at idle. so i decided to pull it apart and have a look. I was expecting stuck oil rings... wasn't expecting the bearings to look like that...welp poop.

I'm thinking oil contamination from blow by, the oil would turn black within a few hundred miles, and oil pressure would drop. There may had been gunk inside the oil passages as well. the engine was apart when i got it, I just put a head on it, never dropped the pan...live and learn. I'm going to do it right this time. Going to take the block to a local shop, and see what I'm working with, id like to stick with stock pistons, but if it needs to be bored I'm going to go aftermarket, and do rods and maybe have it all balanced.

if you can afford it go with aftermarket pistons. the reduced weight & molycoated skirts helps out immensely.
                              all depends on your budget

I've been going back and forward on pistons, the price to gain ratio just doesn't seem to be there for me. But I'm still considering it
