    Semi trucks...?

Anyone else into them as much as me? They were my first love before cars. On my list of dream cars is a slammed and stretched Peterbilt Model 379 long hood.

    post up some pictures!

    one of my personal favorites..

    feel free to add more!

lol. most of them have less ground clearance than half the proteges on this site. makes them that much cooler to me to drive something that big, so low to the ground.

I remember watching a show about semis a while ago. I think it was modern marvels or something, but it had drag semis, and even some that run pikes peak. I thought that was pretty badass.

    Shockwave

    Kenworth tractor
3 Pratt & Whitney J34-48 gas turbine engines
    18,000 lbs thrust
    36,000 HP

    Has attained 376 mph.

I saw it run at a local air show. The truck was positioned on the runway and a plane flew overhead towards it. When the plane reached the tractor, it launched from a standing stop and the truck beat the plane to the end of the runway. A lot of sound and fury there.

Can't remember where or when, but my parents met the guy who drew this. They gave it to me because I was interested in designing cars. Anyway, some pics:
