    In 1991, the South African-made model was exported to the United Kingdom as the Sao Penza and fitted with a 1.3L fuel injected engine. This model was also sold in Australia between 1989 and 1991 with minor changes, the most noticeable one being the front indicators having a clear color rather than the normal amber. These models where labeled BF as opposed to the next generation's.

    were do you get them from then?

        @letard

        I won't deny the fact that SA exported vehicles, but we never got a BF shape 323 in SA that was Fuel Injected. Also, my car is an 1998 model, and its original indicators are amber/orange. I got my clear indicators from Autostyle, (www.autostyle.co.za) I doubt if they sell to the international market. The ones that I have, is the complete unit, but there arelenses available as well, but its not crystal.

        @DeeAOne
        Yes, it was my friend's hatch, but he sold it and bought a Ford Focus.

                      the green lighting does look nice, even though I prefer the orange, because its original.

                          I was checking through some old pics and found a few which I think is worth sharing.

                          These pictures were taken on the day I fitted a Powerflow freeflow stainless steel exhaust. Its fitted fit a Ø50.8mm (Ø2") from the collector to the last muffler (only two fitted). From there it's Ø57mm throught to the tip. It gives the car a nice deep note, and on high speed travelling its relatively silent. Also, when we still had the good but unhealthy leaded petrol, that is what the exhaust tips looked like after a nice long drive. The exhaust tip fleares from Ø57mm to Ø86mm.

                              Lekker om suid afrikaanse mense te sien hier :D

                              Anyways, um why 2.2? I wouldn't take the risk with the diesel crank. I'm going with nos on my 2.0 but only for Thea reasons that it looks nicer just for looks.

                              Should go on this website here in nz we have. A wider range of bf shapes here on this forum it would be good for you guys to show us some tips on fitting the 2.0 and turboing

                                my magtag, kan jy nou dit oor vertel.......

                                nevillehome must answer you on the 2.2 case.
                                I will have a look at the site.

                                on the SA models the holes for the FE transplant are already on the chassis, don't know about the models in the rest of the world. Also, the mountings needed for the FE transplant are available from the dealers.

                                I will take some pics our chassis beams, than you guys can compare it to your models, then we can work from there. Please give me untill the weekend to sort that out.
