bp stroker?

Not sure if in right spot to post it, but i am trying.
Has any one ever done a bp stroker?
I know that it just make the 1.8 up to a 2.0, but has any one ever seen it or done it? Reason for asking is that wouldn't it be the same crank, rods, pistions as the probe 2.0 or mazda motor?
If so couldn't you just go and remove it from a 2.0 and bore the bp to the right specs and swap it all into it? Instead of buying the 5,000 dollar stroker kit.
Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

They haven't done it because the FS-DE doesn't really have anything to do with a BP. That would be a lot of custom work for not much gain.

The 5000 dollar kit has a custom crankshaft and custome pistons and custom length rods

identical stroke. B3 = under bored B6 basically. There are a couple other differences but not many.

you're welcome. I like to be concise and accurate. Very familiar with the B3 and B6 as the B6 can be snuck into an OBDII Aspire and not be noticed by anyone but an enthusiast. If I find another clean 97 aspire I want to do a B6 SOHC + T or a B6D from an MX-3. The wiring is VERY similar.
