01+ Miata "sport" rear caliper brackets, or loaded calipers (calipers are interchangeable, so you can use your old ones if they're good). Then you can run the Miata "sport" rear rotors, which are 10.1" iirrc

    5 bolt conversion fronts

93+ Probe//MX6 complete front spindles. You'll need to change out to the larger shanked balljoint, 92+ I believe for the BG chassis?
93-2001 626 complete front spindles. Same as about for the balljoint

    5 bolt conversion rears

89-91 probe/626/mx6 complete rear spindles with rear disks (Drums will probably swap to, but that's kind of an odd swap lol)

What's the minimum wheel size required for this swap? I can only run 14" wheels.

I know the spare tire won't fit on the Miata setup, so I think you need 15s to clear.

yes my spare tire didnt fit over my miata rear brakes.

as far as those probe/mx6/626 swaps. im assuming they also require a suspension swap

Probe/MX6/626 front struts, slot the upper hole in the rear IIRC.

BG struts will work just fine afaik. The 626/probe/mx6 struts are just wider at the mounting point @ the spindle for the fronts, so just requires even amount of washers on either side. I think it was like 4 washers on each end, not much thicker, but enough that you need washers lol.

Rears you have to re-drill one of the strut to spindle holes, which isn't too bad if you ask me lol.

So for that miata rear brake upgrade, all you need is to find some miata "sport" rear calipers and rotors and they will just bolt on in place of the regular EGT rear calipers/rotors?

technically you just need the rear caliper mounting brackets if your calipers are in good shape, otherwise yea, you can use the Miata caliper since it'll bolt on. Then you need the Miata "sport" rear rotors, and you're done since they're the same caliper, the pads should be the same afaik, but they might be a BIT taller.

i ended up buying a set of loaded miata sport calipers with brackets and then rotors. I think it ended up costing me about 140 bucks total. Im not sure who else has done this swap

Uh, if they're wider at the spindle, wouldn't the spindle then be wider?

Either way, I'm just going to order some Probe/MX6 lower mounts for my K-Sports and not worry about it.

After seeing this posted in the 2 pot brake upgrade thread I felt pretty sure that the 93+ Probe/MX-6 spindle would not work based on the position of the ball joint. Has anyone actually done this?

I sourced a set of BA V6 knuckles out of Europe and should have my subaru 2 piston calipers installed in the next month or so.

This is the 2 piston upgrade thread. Bolts on, but it's not cheap for us in North America. Has cost me about $650.

Not sure about the ball joint issue, just been going by what's been discovered up to date. Your spindle swap dwarfs the V6 brake upgrades tho lol, must have taken a bit of work to get those over seas
