Dee - which lines exactly do you need? the lines that come up to the condensor behind the bumper? those aren't even on the car lol

Got the KJ out today and test fitted the 5 speed to it, i had to remove the coolant pipes since they interfered with the 5 speed trans, some minor modification and it'll fit again

Man there sure is a LOT of vacuum lines on this motor though

Ok, so i WAS going to wait until spring time to do the swap BUT this cock sucking car likes to drain the battery, and i have no f'ing clue what the fuk is draining the battery, i even put in a brand new battery, still drained it after 2 days..... so it's pissed me off for the last time, its all getting ripped apart and starting from scratch so i don't have to deal with this stupid bull**** problem

              rant over

Sorry about the electrical problem, I probably took power from somewhere I shouldn't have. I really wish my schematics didn't get thrown out. My apologies for the BS wiring in there, I did it quick and dirty, and had a dual purpose marine battery. Come to think of it though, I had a regular battery in there when I first did the swap, and it worked fine... Oh well, at least it's leading to progress.

No worries Darren lol i have a feeling the alternator is fubar'd causing the drain, but i got frustrated tonight (like we all do at times lol) and figure its a good excuse to start the swap now lol

plus i got wiring diagrams now for the P5 and KJ

lol oh no man, i know the wiring works since you ran it like that for a few years lol i just tend to get frustrated quickly with electrical issues and sometimes just need to take a break for a day and then i'm ready to get back at it lol

This friday i'm taking the festiva down to Raleigh, North Carolina for a big ass festiva meet (approx. 70-80 cars) and i'll be home sunday night sometime, so i'm thinking early next week is when the KL is coming out of the P5 and the KJ is going in for test fitting

                                Made some progress today

Look at the fun i get to have with wiring it shouldn't be that bad once i get the KL harness out of the way

And the KJ patiently awaiting its new home

I read somewhere that the KL and KJ exhaust manifolds will interchange, so i tried it and there is 1 single bolt hole that does not line up, its the bottom middle bolt hole, i may still be able to make it work simply so i save myself some exhaust work, but i'll mess around with it more the next time i work on the car

Another difference i spotted was that the mounting holes for the intermediate shaft does not match up, i have to wait til the tranny is bolted to the KJ to find out for sure, but at the moment it looks like only 1 of 2 bolts holes will line up, but thats a minor detail since i can just make an adapter bracket like i had to do with the festiva
