      Im with Jay on this, I have never had a leaking valve cover gasket problem, and you only need the rtv in the corners (also stated already).

        copy that. ive used only an oem valve cover gasket and it never leaks..all three cars lol.

          yep, one time is all I need too lol. My Protege GT was COVERED in oil from the valve cover gasket and disti o-ring when I bought it...just nasty that ppl can leave a simple $30 job that takes 20 minutes that long.

                      Thanks for the info, my valve covers are leaking again after having replaced the gasket less than 2 years ago. I'm gonna order some of that "right stuff too" (I have always just used the regular black RTV). Are the OEM gaskets that much better than Felpro's?
