GI on groub buy: Aftermarket crossmember/subframe bushings

I apologize if this thread is against the rules, and if it is, please feel free to close.

How many people would be interested in these? Looking to either do delrin or billet aluminum. Would people want all of them?

Being that i live not 20 minutes from the famed "Gasoline Alley" in Indy, i don't think i'd have a problem getting a shop to create these for us.

Don't have a cost or any of that stuff right now, just wondering how many people would want in. I wouldn't anticipate these being that expensive.

(How many are there, anyways? Been a long time since i've been under my Escort.)

    Post up if:

    1) You want a set
    2) You may want a set depending on cost
    3) You know how many of these would be in a "set," and can name all the locations.
    4) Your "threshold" cost. (Max you'd be willing to pay.) Don't worry, i'm not going to make a profit off of these. Probably just do one run and then done.

As a heads up, if there's enough interest, this would happen after the Escort is ironed out. Probably mid-late July is when i would start getting quotes and a test fit. So, if you need them in the next week or two, move along, nothing to see here.

Couldn't remember if there was more than one crossmember/subframe on these cars that used bushings or not. If there's just one, it'll be 4.

Can you go back and edit your post with a threshold cost at which point you wouldn't want them anymore? Not going to waste everyone's time if people are only going to want to pay $10 or something, you know? I'll edit my first post.

count me in for crossmember bushings. oem uses two up front and a two piece in the back on each side (total four in back)

Ok, so front is just between crossmember and frame, rear is sandwiched, probably washers in between bushing and bolt?

What are the cars that would be able to use these if i get them made to EGT specs? All EGT/LTS/ProLX, obviously, but what about ZX2s and MX3s?

id honestly have to look up the price of oem, and see how far off your prices would be before i made a bid. i understand theyre custom, but them little bushings can very in price from 10 and up each depending whos making them...lol...

i thaught it was only 4, but i havent had the crossmember of in a few years now...lol... i had a new set here somewhere too i thaught it was only 4 bags...

4 rear bushings, 2 front bushings......... im 100% in for a set of delrin. i don't recommended them in AL (its too soft for this application)

SRD performance used to sell a set of these bushings for $20-40 range if i can remember right. considering the rubber OEM ones don't really last a whole long time im in for reliable ones.

Ok, cool! That was going to be my next question, aluminum vs. delrin, but that answers it.

I know the Celicas tend to use aluminum. (mine has these, no problems yet.) But the design is a bit different.

$20-$40 is what i'm shooting for. If it's going to be over $50, i probably won't bother, since i'm sure the interest won't be there.

Is SRD still around? If so, it may be easier to convince them to make a run of 10-15 or so if they still have the specs.

I'd be in for a set as well---delrin sounds great.

If it's $20-$40 range, put me down for 2 sets! Not in a rush or anything, my stock bushings are still good. I'm just planning ahead. BTW, thanks for doing this!

*edit* oh yeah, and I'm in for delrin too.

Alright, cool, so basically, as long as i can stay around $50 shipped or less, we're good to go?

I'll see if i can't get my hands on a new stock set somewhat soon and go from there.

Looks like 10-11 sets are already spoken for, plus mine makes 12-13.
