I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks this way. Protege's have so much more potential than those cars. If only our 2nd gens weren't skipped over in the after market

No aftermarket just means you're only limited by your imagination and fabricating skills. Or the size of your wallet to pay someone to fabricate, hahaha. I can't wait to start the de-rusting work on my car.

big part of your costs are the lines . just take some time and fab them yourself. save the cash for some bling!

I would but I need the car on the road by the end of this month and i'm too busy to fab them. You are defiantly right though, its a large chunk of change for all the hard lines.

Holy crap. I wish I had your kind of money, haha. Good luck with the restoration. I'm deffinitely looking forward to this and taking notes. I've got to replace my right rear quarter panel and the passenger side rocker panel. Cost me $400 for the quarter and another $200 for the rocker. They discontinued making the pieces so I got one of three or four quarter panels left in the country, not sure about the rocker, though. I've got almost all the bushings for the car from Rockauto. Thinking about a KL swap now.
