      It seems like a lose-lose situation. Get flamed for asking the same question for the hundredth time instead of searching, or get flamed for posting in an old thread. Not saying you're trying to offend anyone, goldstar, but it does happen.

      Anyway, my '98 probably gets mid-20s on a good day now. She's seen better days, for sure.

          Well now that this "old" thread has breathed a new breath, I'll add my MPG.

          This is with my 96 Protege Z5 Auto with about 95000miles on it, I get anywhere from 28 to 31 MPG depending on how hard I drive the car (usually pretty hard).
          96 Protege LX 1.5L
          ~99,000Miles
          Automatic Transmission
