Yeah it was either the general grabber or the 27" super swamper. I drive 30 ish miles to work everyday swampers would wear to fast.

    I'm buying parts i don't need, With money I don't have, To impress people I don't know.

Some people are like slinkies. They're not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I'm looking forward to seeing how these work out.

I've been under the impression that even with a lift, when turning tires that much biger than stock, you're going to run into some rubbing issues, up to and including ripping the bumper off, mangling the outer fender, ripping out the inner fender, or wearing the shoulders of the tires off on the firewall/footwell/inner fender area.

I know on my EGT that had some 205/70-15's when i first got it, I couldn't even get full lock because of the rubbing.

I've already thought about all of that, another thing I took into account was that the tire might also hit the front spring perches.
Here is the plan so far.
                    Lots of BFH mods
                    Coil-overs in the front
                    Wheelspacers

Only time will tell im hoping to get the tire mounted on a set of 7 spoke miata wheels today.

Ok so yesterday i got the tires mounted up. After about 20 minutes of hassel for the tire guy about how the tires wouldnt fit, matt and i finally got them mounted.
Here is what they look like on the 7 spokes

It has been super hectic trying to get everything done as my wife is going to go into labor any day. Either way i stll managed to get some work done for the first half of the day.
So far this is what i figured out,
Front spring perches hit the tire bad so i threw a set of ebay coilovers on the stock blown struts. They give me more than enough clearance to mount the tire.
Rear spring perches also touch the tire but with a 1/2" spacer i should be fine. The tires are about 1/4" away from the trailing arm so this will help with clearance for those.
After i mounted the backs and finished the coilovers i concentrated on clearancing the wheel wells for turning.the front of the wheel well was easy i just took out the plastic splash guard and used a hammer to push the factory skid plate over about 2". The back of the wheel well is the difficult part i had to notch it out and weld a new piece of metal in. I also had to cut the lip off of the subframe so it wouldnt touch. I have about 1/2" of clearance there. I will get more pics tomorrow pending baby.

I need to get a few things still if anyone has them and is willing to sell
                            10" coilover springs 250lbs
1/2" wheel spacers for 4x100 bolt pattern
                            Strut inserts for front struts

Let me know what you have
